New travel warning from Israel to Turkey
Israel noted that Passover coincides with Ramadan this year and argued that Iranian groups could attack Israelis in Turkey and the Gulf countries.
Israel’s National Security Council, in a statement today, warned Israelis against possible attacks by Iran. The council, which issued a travel warning ahead of Passover next month, said the threat of attack is high, especially in Iran’s neighboring countries such as Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Israel called on its citizens in Turkey to “leave the country immediately” last year, following the assassination of some high-ranking Iranian officials. The Israeli government thanked Turkey for preventing Iranian groups from preparing to attack the Israelis.
