The TASS news agency announced that Putin went by helicopter to Mariupol, which has been under the control of Russian forces since May last year. It was also claimed that Putin drove to some neighborhoods in the city driving a car and talked to the people living in the area.

It was announced that many buildings and infrastructure that were destroyed due to the war, which was said to have been inspected by Putin in the region, will also be reconstructed.
