UN condemns new North Korean ballistic missile test
“The Secretary General strongly condemns the launch of another ICBM by North Korea.” It was said.
The statement urges North Korea to fully comply with all relevant international obligations under UN Security Council resolutions, urging it to immediately cease destabilizing actions.
North Korea announced that it launched an intercontinental ballistic missile yesterday morning to “instill fear in enemies” following South Korea’s rapprochement with Japan and its joint exercise with the United States.
North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that the North Korean-launched missile reached an altitude of 6,45 kilometers and traveled 1,000 kilometers before falling into the waters off the country’s east coast. (AA)
