Fewer French take to the streets against the pension law Related articles

Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets in France on Saturday to protest against a planned increase in the retirement age. Voter turnout was lower than in previous days of protests, French media reported.

According to protesting unions, more than 1 million protesters were on the move, including 300,000 in the French capital Paris. According to the authorities, they were much less numerous: a total of about 368,000, including 48,000 in Paris.
