After 11 years, the ban on riding a motorcycle is lifted here

The Yobe governor’s special adviser for security affairs, Brigadier General Dahiru Abdulsalam, said in a statement that security had recently been restored in the province.

Abdulsalam announced that the ban on the use of motorcycles has been lifted in 7 regions of the state due to the threat from the terrorist organization Boko Haram.

MAY NOT BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES

Stating that the motorcycles will be used in the regions between 6.00 am and 18.00 pm every day, Abdulsalam said, “The motorcycles will not be used for commercial purposes. Only one rider will be allowed on the motorcycle with no other person.” he used the phrase.

More than 20,000 people lost their lives in the mass terrorist acts organized by Boko Haram, which has existed in northeast Nigeria since the early 2000s, since 2009.

The Yobe state government imposed a motorcycle ban in the state in 2012, arguing that Boko Haram terrorists were carrying out attacks on motorcycles.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND IMMIGRANTS

At least 2,000 people lost their lives in the organization’s attacks in the Lake Chad basin.
