Israel attacked Syria, flights stopped
Aleppo airport was badly damaged in the airstrike carried out by Israel in Syria at night.
Syria’s state news agency SANA, based on military sources, reported that Israel carried out an airstrike on the country. Aleppo airport was claimed to be closed to flights as a result of the damage.
According to SANA, the Aleppo airport was recently used to transport international aid to Syria, where thousands of people lost their lives in the earthquakes centered on Kahramanmaraş. Syrian media did not give any information on whether there were any casualties or injuries in the attacks.
Israel has carried out numerous airstrikes against Syria in recent years. Previously, the Damascus and Aleppo airports were temporarily closed as a result of Israeli strikes.
