Brazilian President Lula da Silva meets with Zelenskiy

Lula da Silva, in a statement about the meeting on his Twitter account, stated that they will work for peace, saying: “The war between Ukraine and Russia benefits no one. Brazil will participate in any effort for peace and I conveyed this to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. I hope there are no more deaths and a policy of dialogue is established.” she used her statements.

Stating that he told Zelenskiy that they were ready to take the initiative to end the ongoing war between the two countries, Lula da Silva noted that the international community should work for a peaceful solution.

Lula da Silva, in his January 31 statement, suggested that a “group of countries” be formed to mediate the peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine. (AA)
