The United States Senate agreed! New decision on Covid-19

In the upper house of Congress, the Senate passed a bill that requires the US Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to share intelligence about the origin of the Covid-19 virus with the public.

The bill, introduced by Republican Sens. Josh Hawley and Mike Braun, passed unanimously.

In the bill, which stated that there is reason to believe that the Covid-19 outbreak may have originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the DNI was urged to share information about the origin of Covid-19 with the public.

The bill also called for sharing information about the Wuhan Institute researchers.

The bill in question was also accepted in the Senate in 2021, but was not on the agenda of the House of Representatives.

For the bill to become law, it must first be approved by the other chamber of Congress, the House of Representatives, and then by President Joe Biden.

ALLEGED LEAK FROM LABORATORY IN CHINA

The Wall Street Journal wrote that the US Department of Energy believes that Covid-19 was likely accidentally leaked from a laboratory in China, according to a classified intelligence report it recently submitted to the White House and key members of Congress.

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated that there were differing opinions in the intelligence community on this issue, but there was not enough information to be sure.

Christopher Wray, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), said that they were focusing on the thesis that Covid-19 “probably accidentally leaked from a laboratory in China.” (AA)
