Canada will provide additional humanitarian aid for earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
Canadian Minister for International Development Harjit Sajjan and Foreign Minister Melanie Joly announced in a joint written statement that Canada will provide an additional $20 million in humanitarian aid to Turkey and Syria.
In his statement, Sajjan said: “We continue to be affected by the terrible tragedy in Turkey and Syria. Today’s announcement responds to humanitarian appeals made by the international community.
