US minister gave a message of peace from Athens to Ankara

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who visited Greece after Turkey, gave a peace message on the Ankara-Athens line

Blinken, who held a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias in Athens today, said: “As close friends, partners and allies of both countries, it is in our interest, as well as Greece and Turkey, to find ways to resolve differences of long standing through diplomacy”.

Blinken also said that Turkey and Greece should not take unilateral action.

During their meeting as part of the 4th US-Greece Dialogue Meeting, the two ministers also discussed regional cooperation and the war in Ukraine. Blinken also praised Athens’ support for Turkey after the earthquakes.
