1,800 victims of the earthquake were treated in the field hospital established by Spain
Officials from the field hospital in Spain, which was inaugurated in Iskenderun about 11 days ago in collaboration with the AECID and the European Union for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid, made statements.
Spanish authorities stated that the field hospital is open for earthquake victims every day of the week, noting that they have so far treated approximately 1,800 earthquake victims.
The AECID medical teams highlighted that the field hospital treats 230 people daily.
Expressing that they attach importance to waste management and infrastructure resources in the field hospital in Spain, the authorities noted that the local population who came to the hospital for treatment was satisfied with the interest shown to them, and that some patients they came to visit them and brought small meaningful gifts.
It was also claimed that the Turkish Pharmacists Association visited the hospital on February 17 and provided help with medicines.
