Shahid Masood, one of the best-known Pakistani journalists, made a remarkable statement about the aid packages Pakistan sent to Turkey after the earthquake. Making a statement on the live broadcast, Masood said, “The Pakistan aid package was the package sent by Turkey in the flood disaster that occurred in Pakistan last year.” Masood claimed that the aid packages sent by Turkey were exactly returned.
Local media heralded the development with the headline: “If this claim is true, Pakistan will face major international embarrassment.” Masood said: “There are the words ‘Government of Sindh’ and ‘Government of Pakistan’ on the packages and parcels.
