Peace plan moves from China to Russia-Ukraine war

Speaking at the Munich Conference, Chinese Foreign Minister Yi made remarks.

“We will explain China’s position on a political solution to the Ukraine crisis, and China will continue to favor peace and dialogue. “China will also publish the Global Security Initiative concept paper to propose more feasible measures to solve the current security dilemma.”

Emphasizing that it is the responsibility of every country to build a safe world, Minister Yi said, “Building a safe world is the common desire and responsibility of all countries. To make the world safer, we must insist on respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries. We must insist on the peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and consultation. We must return to the objectives and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, and we must all give importance to the key role of development.
