We wish them strength in their vital work”.
‘THE BRIDGE OF SOLIDARITY HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED’

In a short time you have established a bridge of feelings, a bridge of solidarity between our countries, which as human beings are closely linked to each other. After all, 3 million of Germany’s citizens come from Turkey. Also from the badly damaged provinces of Hatay and Gaziantep. “Many others have family roots in Syria,” he said.
Prime Minister Scholz pointed out that there is a Turkish proverb like “A true friend reveals himself in bad times” and that they say it similarly in German like “One knows a true friend in adversity” and said: “And we are true friends.
