The funerals of 1590 Syrians who lost their lives in the earthquakes were brought to their countries

According to information obtained by the AA correspondent from local authorities, the bodies of Syrians who died in the earthquakes are being transferred to their countries through the Cilvegözü border gate in Hatay’s Reyhanlı district.

Before the bodies of the Syrians are delivered to their countries, their relatives take them to the Reyhanlı cemetery and search them. Then they transfer it to the Cilvegözü border gate and deliver it to the Babülhava border gate opposite here with funeral vehicles.

The families waiting in Babülhava take the corpses of their relatives and bury them in the regions where they live.

The bodies of the 1590 Syrians who died in the Turkey earthquakes have been delivered to their countries in this way so far.

In this process, more than 6,000 Syrians residing in 11 provinces affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş entered Syria to meet the burial and shelter needs of their relatives.
