Visit of the Prime Minister of Belgium to the earthquake relief center
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo visited the aid collection center set up in Antwerp, Belgium for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and delivered a message of solidarity.
Prime Minister De Croo, who went to the aid collection center in the Berchem district of Antwerp last night, met with the Turks here. The Belgian Prime Minister was accompanied by the Turkish Consul General in Antwerp, Batu Keskin.
De Croo, who shared on his social media account about his visit, stated that they stand in solidarity with the people affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, which affected both Syria and Turkey. Expressing that the Turkish community in Belgium is concerned about their relatives and friends in Turkey, De Croo said that the Turks took steps to help those in need and he was very pleased with this.
De Croo also shared the photos he took with the Turks working at the aid collection center on social media. (AA)
