81 people killed in a week in clashes in Somaliland

Abdimajid Hüsen Sugulle, general manager of Las Anod Hospital, said in a statement that even the medical center was shelled during the conflict, adding that they would not be able to find enough medicines and medical supplies if the fighting continued.

Sugulle noted that 81 people have been killed and 490 injured so far.

40 PERCENT OF THE CITY IS DAMAGED

Abdirizak Mohamed Falalug, a spokesman for the opposition group, said: “Somaliland has been in power in this region for 15 years, it entered in 2007, and since then people in the region have been killed in a planned way by unidentified people. We formed a committee as local people. As a committee, we have decided to leave Somaliland because we cannot tolerate the willful and willful killing of young people, children and women.” he said.

Stating that 40 percent of the city was in ruins and that people left the city, Falalug also claimed that the Djibouti government supported the Somaliland soldiers.

Opponents want Somaliland soldiers to abandon the Sool, Sanaag and Ceyni regions and unite these regions to the Somali state. (AA)
