Field hospital and transport plane from the UK to Turkey
According to a statement from the British Ministry of Defense, the “C130 Hercules” type transport plane carrying the field hospital, aid material and paramedics and the “A400M” type transport plane took off at dawn in Turkey.
The field hospital can be used for critical interventions in the region with the “C130 Hercules” type transport aircraft, which also has a portable intensive care unit. The “C130 Hercules” will also be placed at the service of Turkey for the transport of dead and wounded within Turkey.
The “A400M” transport aircraft will transport humanitarian aid products, including thermal blankets, to the region. This aircraft will arrive in the region under the coordination of the 8-person military team at the British Embassy in Ankara.
