Oxfam and British Red Cross emergency fundraiser
According to information about the donation campaign on the website of the charity Oxfam, Oxfam teams aim to provide the most appropriate and fastest humanitarian aid after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 in Turkey and Syria.
In this context, the organization launched an international donation campaign. Information on how to donate to the campaign was also shared on Oxfam’s social media accounts.
In Oxfam’s briefing on the aid campaign, it was stated that the earthquake was the largest seen in Turkey since 1939, and that an Oxfam team would go to the region to make an assessment today.
In a statement in the UK, the Red Cross launched a donation drive to provide “urgent donations” after the earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria.

While there was a magnitude 7.7 earthquake at 04:17 in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş yesterday, and a magnitude 7.6 earthquake in the Elbistan district at 13:24, two earthquakes with magnitudes of 6.4 and 6.5 occurred in Gaziantep.
