Iran vows revenge on Israel

Iran’s ISNA news agency reported that Iran’s United Nations (UN) representative Amir Saeid Iravani wrote a letter to the UN Secretary-General, stating that preliminary investigations indicated that Israel was responsible for the attack. which took place on Saturday night.
“Iran maintains its legitimate and natural right to defend its national security and respond to any threat or wrongdoing by the Zionist regime (Israel) when and where it deems necessary,” the letter said. This action carried out by the Zionist regime is contrary to international law.
The attack, which suffered no loss of life, came at a time of tension between Iran and Western states over Tehran’s nuclear activities, weapons supplies and months of anti-government protests in the country.
Long-range UAVs supplied by Iran to Russia are used in the Ukraine war.
