Lukashenko, who met Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, handed over a tractor to his African counterpart. Mnangagwa gave Lukashenko a dead teddy bear.
At the official ceremony held in the capital, Harare, the cheerful mood of the two leaders in front of the cameras also drew attention. Mnangagwa, who took the key to the tractor from Lukashenko, said he would use the tractor in his own field.
It was reported that Belarus also donated a large number of locally produced tractors to Zimbabwe. Lukashenko said: “Thank you for the sanctions you imposed on us. Otherwise, there would be tractors from the USA or Germany, not from Belarus, ”he said.
