France and Italy agree on the joint production of 700 Aster missiles

In a written statement from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are pleased that French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu and Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto have signed an agreement for the production of “Aster” type missiles for French Air and Space Forces. and the French Navy, as well as the Italian Air Force and the Italian Navy.

In the statement, it was indicated that the contract for the production of 700 Aster-type missiles was notified to Eurosam on December 30, 2022, and it was reported that said order covers different types of Aster missiles such as Aster 15, Aster 30 Block 1 and Aster 30 Block 1NT.
