Citizens of Ukraine are happy with the delivery of tanks from the West to Ukraine, but they think the delivery has been delayed too long. Eastern European journalist Floris Akkerman reports from Ukraine. “F-16 delivery will be the next talking point.”
“Ukrainians are very happy with the tanks, but they also think that the time has come. All year round they see the West lingering. Now it’s time for the F16s, that’s the next step. They are now waiting for the West to come with this.’
According to Akkerman, the fact that the F16s will be sent is taken into account. It started with helmets being sent, now Leopard tanks have been delivered.
