Serial Killer Panic, 3 Women Dead: Tracking And Targeting The Elderly
There is panic over a serial killer in Schwäbisch Hall, a small town in Germany… In recent weeks, the district administration and the police took action after 3 elderly women were found dead in a row in their home.
Bild am Sonntag, one of Germany’s most widely read newspapers, announced that police were alarmed by the serial killer and especially warned senior citizens to “be careful”. German police announced that the serial killer was targeting older women who lived alone.
Police suspicions intensified last Wednesday after Gisela W., 84, found her 89-year-old neighbor, Gertraute N., dead in her home. “I used to check on her regularly,” Gisela told Bild am Sonntag. She always kept a spare key in front of the house. As soon as I saw him in that state, I immediately called for help.”
SKULL FOUND BROKEN
The investigation was deepened when the autopsy concluded that Gertraute’s cause of death was not natural. While police were on record continuing to find the killer after 77-year-old Heidemarie K., who was murdered at her home in December, police began issuing a serial killer warning after Gertraute’s death.
However, in the news in the German media, it was claimed that the discovery of the skull of 94-year-old Elfriede Huchler with a cracked skull on October 14, 2020 is also linked to these murders. The fact that Huchler’s house was 200 meters from Heidemarie’s house raised suspicions and drew attention to the fact that belongings were stolen from Huchler’s house.
ALLEGED “THE KILLER WATCHES IN THE SUPERMARKET”
He specified that although a reward of 35,000 euros was given to find the murderer of Huchler, who is heir to an alcohol brand and sold the company before his death, the murderer has not yet been found. But German police have claimed that the serial killer may have been a woman rather than a man. German officials said: “It is remarkable that older women were the targets of all three murders. “We are still investigating whether there was murder and robbery in all the cases,” she said.
On the other hand, it was noted that everyone knew each other due to the small population of the region, while the police constantly patrolled to prevent a fourth murder. Speaking to German media, Lothar D., a local resident, said: “I knew Huchler very well. I think the killer is following his elderly victims in the supermarket.”
