Palestine ends security cooperation with Israel
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas chaired an extraordinary meeting on the events in Jenin at the Presidential Palace in Ramallah.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeyne said the Palestinian Authority has ended its security cooperation with Israel.
Rudeyne stated that the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) was convened for a meeting pursuant to Article 7 and noted that Palestinian administration would apply to all international organizations.
Rudeyne affirmed that they will go to the International Criminal Court regarding what happened in Jenin, and shared that Abbas called all Palestinian groups to an extraordinary meeting to agree on a national vision to counter these attacks by Israel.
The Palestinian Authority has announced in the past that it has ended security cooperation with Israel in reaction.

9 Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces stormed the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank in the morning.
As a result of the fire opened by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, a total of 29 Palestinians, including a woman and 5 children, have been killed since the beginning of the year.

Israeli forces have recently been attacking several towns in the occupied West Bank and detaining Palestinians.
In addition to rubber bullets, clashes break out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian groups, who frequently use live bullets against Palestinians protesting the attacks, especially in areas like Jenin and Nablus.
