In a statement issued by the US Treasury Department on January 24, it was stated that sanctions would be imposed on the company CTEX Exchange, which “facilitates the financial activities of Hezbollah” and its manager, Hasan Mukallid, and his 2 children.
The statement said Mukallid played a key role in ensuring that Hezbollah continues to exploit and exacerbate Lebanon’s economic crisis. (AA)
