FBI found 6 more classified documents at Biden’s home

US President Biden’s personal lawyer, Bob Bauer, said in a written statement that FBI agents searched Biden’s home in Willmington on Friday.

The statement indicated that during the search, which lasted about 13 hours, 6 confidential documents belonging to Biden’s Senate and his vice-presidential periods were found.

While the new documents were seized for detailed examination by Justice Ministry officials, it was noted that Biden voluntarily gave permission to search his home.

In the statement, it was also shared that President Biden and his wife Jill Biden were not home over the weekend break during the search.

CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS FROM BIDEN’S OFFICE AND HOME

Richard Sauber, one of Biden’s advisers, said on January 9 that Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center had “few documents containing classified information” from his tenure as vice president on November 2, 2022.

Stating that the documents were in a “locked cabinet,” Sauber said that as soon as the documents were found, Biden’s personal attorneys contacted the White House and state institutions related to the national archives.

Biden said he was “shocked” when he heard confidential documents coming out of his office, noting that he had no knowledge of the documents’ contents.

The Ministry of Justice appointed a specially authorized prosecutor to examine the documents in question.
