Prince Harry: I was born to donate organs if my brother gets sick
Revelations in the recently released memoir of Prince Harry, Spare, who left his duties in the British royal family and settled in the US with his wife, actress Meghan Markle, are not off the agenda.
In his book Spare, which means “spare,” Prince Harry claimed his raison d’etre was that his older brother Prince William, who is currently the number one heir to the throne, might fall ill. Prince, 38, argued that he was born to donate organs as a precaution in case his brother needed a kidney or blood, and he knew that since he was a child.
Describing the details of his childhood and his tumultuous relationship with his older brother in his book, Harry noted that even his family members openly stated that William was the heir apparent and he was the heir-in-place.
Claiming that his raison d’être is “to entertain and donate organs to his brother in a pinch”, Harry told his father, King Charles’s mother Princess Diana, after he was born: “Great, you gave me an heir. and a spare heir. My job is done,” he said.
The prince also revealed that his older brother William, who was 2 years older, had hit him during an argument.
