EVENTS IN BRAZIL
Yesterday in Brazil, supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro, who were chanting slogans demanding the intervention of the army, broke through the police barrier and entered the National Congress building.
The police, who intervened with tear gas to disperse the protesters, were unable to prevent the groups from forcibly entering the Presidential Palace and the Supreme Court building.
Bolsonaro supporters, who raided the National Congress and the Presidential Palace, were taken out of these buildings by security forces and control was secured. (AA)
