Former Russian Commander’s Stunning Claim: The War To Replace Putin Has Begun
Former Russian commander Igor Strelkov, one of the most important figures in the war between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian forces in eastern Ukraine since 2014, made notable remarks about the conflict in the Kremlin.
One of the closest names to Russian leader Vladimir Putin for a time, Strelkov led the 2014 annexation of Crimea and the Russian militia in Donetsk, and draws attention with his harsh criticism of the Kremlin, today took a seat against Putin in Russia He said his fight was growing. Strelkov, saying that Russia faces a military disaster in Ukraine, argued that many names are competing with each other for the presidency, including Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Russia’s Wagner militia, known for his closeness to Putin.

‘CONDITION OF COMPLETE MOBILIZATION’
Strelkov drew attention to the fact that Prigozhin, Wagner’s boss, has of late become an increasingly prominent figure in Russian state media, increasingly showing his intention to become defense minister or head of state.
Strelkov, who also argued that Putin should declare a “total mobilization” to avoid a major defeat in Ukraine, repeated accusations that there was great unrest in the military against Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
Allegations of preparations for a coup against Putin had previously appeared in the press. While the Kremlin was said to be discussing scenarios of the Russian leader’s failure in the war or his ouster in a coup, there were rumors that Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev would lead a possible coup and oligarchs were uncomfortable with him the sanctions would also support him.
