Overturned bus carrying tourists; 15 people die

Nayarit prosecutors specified that 62 people went to sea in the bus they rented.

Prosecutors reported that 15 people, including 4 children, lost their lives and 47 were injured as a result of the bus skidding off the road and flipping over in Nayarit yesterday.

Officials in the state of Guanajuato, east of Nayarit, reported that all the passengers on the bus were from the city in the state of León.

THE STATE OF THE INJURED IS NOT ANNOUNCED

No information was provided on the state of the injured who are being treated in hospitals.

Local media reported that the passengers had returned from the coastal region of Guayabitos in Nayarit. An investigation into the accident has been launched.

Located on the west coast of the country, Nayarit is a favorite with tourists with its forests and beaches. It is known that the people of Mexico get together and rent a bus to go to the beaches.
