They rob a gym where boys and girls go together in Iran
It has been reported that a gym, allegedly providing co-education in Iran’s Elborz province, has been sealed off and a lawsuit has been filed against its owner and trainer.
According to the official Iranian agency IRNA, Ferdis’s prosecutor, Hüseyin Nasırhaki, gave instructions to investigate the matter after hearing the news that mixed training was being held at a sports club. Nasırhaki stated that as a result of the investigation, it was determined that a mixed training took place in the gymnasium in the city of Meşkindeşt of Keraj.
Noting that the venue in question was sealed off, Nasırhaki stated that a lawsuit has been filed against the owner of the salon and his trainer and that the investigation is ongoing.
THE PRESSURE RISES
On December 26, two workplaces in a shopping mall in the city of Burucerd, in Iran’s Loristan province, were closed for “violating the mandatory veil law.”
In Qom province, on December 25, a shopping center with 700 people was sealed off, alleging that “dress regulations were not followed”. In the city of Qazvin, on December 20, 5 workplaces were closed for “serving people who do not wear headscarves.”
The death of Mahsa Emini, 22, who fell ill and was taken to hospital after being detained on September 13 in Tehran by Irshad patrols, known as “morality police”, alleging that she “did not comply with the rules of the veil”, sparked protests against the country’s government. Hundreds of people lost their lives in anti-regime demonstrations across the country and more than 10,000 people were detained. (AA)
