Greek Media: Athens Pursues Israeli Missiles
It was claimed that Greece discussed the details of the issue in order to make a decision in 2023 for the supply of Spike NLOS missile systems from Israel.
According to Ta Nea newspaper news, while serious negotiations were underway between Greece and Israel for the purchase of Israeli-made Spike NLOS-type missile systems, this issue came to the fore at the last National Security Council meeting in 2022. In the news, it was noted that the agreement for the supply of Spike NLOS could not be completed in 2022, it was suggested that this delay could lead to a price increase and an extension of delivery time in a possible sale.
In the news, which claimed that the Greek side wanted to conclude the deal in the first month of 2023, it was argued that otherwise the deal might not come to fruition.
