Another scandalous decision on the women of the Taliban! Discontinued
Abdurrahman Habib, spokesman for the Ministry of Economy of the interim Taliban government, said that the ministry sent such a decision to all NGOs in the country and that this decision must be followed.
DOES IT INCLUDE FOREIGN WOMEN?
Habib left unanswered the question of whether the decision covers foreign employees.
In the ministry’s statement, it was noted that many complaints were received about women working in these institutions “not properly complying” with the “veil” rules introduced by the Taliban administration.
LICENSES WILL BE CANCELED
In the statement, it was noted that the licenses of NGOs that do not terminate the employment of female staff will be revoked.
The Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban’s Transitional Government announced on December 20 that the education of female students was suspended until further notice, with the instruction being sent to all public and private universities in Afghanistan.
After the Taliban took over the administration of Afghanistan on August 15 last year, many women working in the public and private sectors lost their jobs. (AA)
