Putin: We will use all our resources to develop our army

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at his meeting with commanders about the war that has been going on for about 10 months in Ukraine, said that almost all NATO possibilities are used to support Ukraine against Russia, “Russia will increase its potential armed forces. We will use all the necessary resources for this, ”he said.

Referring to the experience of the Russian army in the war in Syria, Putin said: “This military experience should be used. We will continue to improve the readiness of nuclear forces. We will equip our strategic forces with modern weapons. “We will meet all our objectives in Ukraine,” he said.

Making a statement at the meeting, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu also stated that they faced some difficulties during the partial mobilization announced in September. Noting that the West did everything possible to prolong the war and invested a lot of money in Ukraine, Shoigu said: “However, we are destroying Ukraine’s military capacity.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to the United States today as part of his first foreign trip since the start of the war. Zelenskiy will discuss arms aid to Ukraine with President Joe Biden and congressional officials.
