Putin’s reaction to the US: Will prolong the conflict
Russian President Putin answered questions from Russian journalists about the agenda at the Kremlin Palace. Reacting to Western countries’ price-cap practices for Russian oil and natural gas, Putin said: “What they are trying to do is become colonialism. They are used to stealing and stealing. Most of the European economies were fueled by the slave trade and the looting of Africa, Asia and Latin America. he said.
Emphasizing that the price ceiling will not affect the Russian economy, Putin said: “This is just an attempt to regulate prices in an administrative way. It won’t lead to good things in the gas field like it does in the oil field.” he said he.
Noting that Russia continues to pay Ukraine for natural gas shipments through Ukraine, Putin said: “They call us aggressors, but they continue to charge us for gas transit. As for the Donbas, they are the real aggressors, we are responding to aggression. They still take our money and don’t care.” He used the phrases.
US PATRIOT SHIPPING TO UKRAINE
Speaking about the Patriot systems that the United States will send to Ukraine, Putin said: “It’s an old system and it doesn’t work like our S-300. They say they are defensive weapons, so let’s assume they are. So there is a solution. Those who do this (send) do it in vain. It will only prolong the conflict.” he said.
Pointing out that Russia’s military resources are more than Ukraine’s military resources, Putin said: “I will not give the number of artillery shells that we used during the day (in Ukraine). These numbers are big. But the difference between us is; Ukraine’s military resources are heading towards zero, it will soon run out of capacity. Our capacity is increasing.” he used the phrases.
Putin continued:
“I think that the military resources of the Western countries and of NATO are not on the verge of exhaustion, but the issue here is different. Weapons for Ukraine come from the former Warsaw Pact countries. Many of these weapons are Soviet-made. These are about to run out.”
Vladimir Putin stated that Russia continues to strengthen its modern weapons, but that they do not plan to engage in “provocative” actions with these weapons.
NEGOTIATIONS WITH UKRAINE
Referring to the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Putin stressed that they are in favor of negotiations, saying: “All armed conflicts, one way or another, end with negotiations through diplomacy. We do not give up negotiations. The Ukrainian administration forbade him to trade.” he said.
Putin shared his hope that “Ukraine will become aware of the need for negotiations.” (AA)
