The cremation of the body of the Turkish citizen caused a great shock in Germany… The family said that ‘the event is suspicious’

The “accidental” cremation of the body of Turkish citizen Abdülkadir Sargın, who lived in Hannover, Germany and died in the emergency room of MHH Hospital on December 14, caused a stir in the country.

Abdülkadir Sargın, born in 1951 in Ereğli and residing in Germany, was transferred to the emergency room of the MHH Hospital in Hannover on December 13 as a result of his serious injuries and died on December 14. Sargın’s body was sent to the funeral company by the hospital authorities to be buried according to Islamic methods, at the request of the family. While the body was being washed on December 20, it was revealed that it did not belong to Abdülkadir Sargın, and Sargın’s family requested MHH Hospital to correct the mistake.

It turned out that Sargın’s body was mixed with the funeral of a German. Sargın’s family, whose body was burned because of the officer in the hospital morgue, argues that the incident seems suspicious.

Barış Sargın, the nephew of a Turkish citizen, said that the cremation of bodies in Germany took a 3-week process, while they were waiting for an explanation why Abdülkadir Sargın’s body was cremated in 2 days and their suspicions should be cleared up.

‘WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HIDE?’

Barış Sargın said, “My deceased uncle’s son and cousin Kerem showed up at the Hannover hospital when they determined that the body belonged to someone else while they were washing it. Indicating that she was an employee and an intern at the hospital morgue, the lady stated that she had made a mistake and that my uncle’s body was sent to the crematorium to be cremated. We immediately made the necessary communication and learned that the body of the deceased was cremated in two days.”

The grieving nephew said: “The cremation process in Germany takes an average of 3 weeks. Why was my uncle’s body quickly cremated in 2 days? This rush made us very suspicious. Why did the German authorities act so quickly to cremate the body? Frankly, I wonder what’s hiding here. They wanted to give us my deceased uncle’s ashes, but how would we know they were my uncle’s? We have already suffered from losing our uncle, we are experiencing the pain of mixing the body and burning it. How will they clear our doubts now?” he used the phrases.

Barış Sargın stated that the Turkish Hannover Consulate was very helpful in this process, that they were immediately called from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stated that they would follow up on the incident.

On the other hand, it was emphasized that the Hannover Consulate will assign a lawyer to the Sargın family and the family will start a legal process. Barış Sargın stated that the German police in Hannover also opened a separate investigation. (DHA)
