Czechia: Ukrainians will work in arms factories

Czech Deputy Defense Minister Tomas Kopecny announced on Czech radio that a large number of weapons experts will be recruited from Ukraine.

Kopecny shared the information that, according to the agreement signed by the prime ministers of the two countries in October, Prague and Kiev will cooperate for the joint production of weapons, for which thousands of Ukrainian weapons experts will work in Czech factories.

Kopecny said that the aim is to increase the weapons capacity of both countries with cooperation and that Ukrainian experts will be offered the opportunity to work in a safer environment.

Kopecny noted that in addition to the production of weapons, repair and modernization is also planned, and the first products of this cooperation are planned to be purchased in the first half of 2023. (AA)
