The Moroccan passengers could not escape this time
As the plane made an emergency landing in Rome, security forces closed the plane’s doors to prevent passengers trying to enter the country illegally from escaping. The pregnant passenger, who was allegedly in labor pains, was operated on on the plane.
The passenger plane belonging to Pegasus Airlines, which performs the Istanbul-Casablanca Sabiha Gökçen Airport flight, made an emergency landing last night on the grounds that a pregnant passenger went into labor.
The pregnant woman alarmed the cabin crew with the accusation that she was in labor. After first aid was administered by three doctors on the plane, the pilot captain contacted the Rome Airport Air Traffic Control Tower and requested permission for an emergency landing.
The plane landed at the airport at around 9:10 p.m. local time.

Acting accordingly, Italian security forces took precautions around the plane and the apron to prevent Moroccan passengers from entering the country illegally. The crews closed the front door of the plane and did not allow the passengers to escape from the plane.
Meanwhile, a brawl broke out between the police and the passengers who wanted to get off the plane. The police intervened the passengers. While the passenger, who was 8.5 months pregnant, was being examined by doctors on the plane, it was learned that there was no delivery.

Seeing this as an opportunity, 28 passengers fled the plane, while 14 passengers were caught by the police. Police teams launched an investigation to find the 14 passengers who escaped from the plane.
