The whole town played the lottery: 165 people won the jackpot

In the numerical game of chance played by guessing 7 numbers in Europe, the grand prize went to the coupon played jointly by 165 people in the Olmen village of Antwerp.

A Euro-Millions statement revealed a few days after the draw that the winning ticket was sold in Olmen and actually belonged to a group of 165 players. The group met in the De Pershoek bookstore and each member of the group paid 15 euros to attend.

Since the amount of money is too much, each player will receive around 1 million euros.

Belgian National Lottery officials shared the image of the celebration at the bookstore, stating that 165 people played the digital game of chance at the local bookstore.

The 165 lucky civil servants in Antwerp will soon be able to have a big end-of-year celebration. She attended a social at Wim and Christel’s bookshop for just €15 each and dreamed of winning the EuroMillions jackpot.
