25 members of far-right terrorist group arrested in Germany
Justice Minister Buschmann announced that 25 members of the far-right terrorist group Reichsbürger (Reich Citizens’ Movement) were arrested in the operation carried out with more than 3,000 security forces in 11 regions of Germany.
Minister Buschmann said: “After the statement that there is a suspicion that an armed attack is being planned against the constitutional bodies, these people conspired to seize state power, and one of the plans was to seize the Bundestag with weapons.”
22 MEMBERS, 3 SUPPORTERS
It was claimed that 22 people, whose names were announced by the German Attorney General’s Office, were members of the aforementioned far-right terror group, and 3 people were sympathizers.
The prosecution claimed that one of these three people, two of whom were German citizens, was the Russian national Vitalia B.
The statement said that the captured group had been plotting since November 2021, planning to replace the current state order in Germany with their own outlined form of government.
In the statement, the Group’s members follow a collection of conspiracy myths, allegedly made up of narratives from Reichsbürger and QAnon ideology. They are absolutely convinced that Germany is now ruled by a so-called deep state. (DHA)
