US resumes cooperation with terrorist organizations in Syria

It has been revealed that the US has resumed cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces, the backbone of which is the PKK/YPG terror organizations, which was arrested last week.

The Associated Press news agency announced that the United States has resumed joint patrols with the Syrian Democratic Forces in northern Syria.

In a statement made last week to the British news agency Reuters by the Syrian Democratic Forces, it was stated that after Turkey’s military operations in northern Syria, it was decided to cease joint anti-terrorist operations with the coalition led by USA. Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Patrick Ryder had previously announced that cooperation in the fight against ISIS had not ended.

It should be noted that these statements came after Mazlum Abdi, the head of the Syrian Democratic Forces, called on Washington to send a stronger message to Ankara.

‘LIMITED TO ISIS PRISON CAMPS’

According to the Associated Press, armored vehicles belonging to the US and the Syrian Democratic Forces were seen leaving the base in Hasake province together yesterday. The patrol forces reportedly moved to another US base near the Iraqi border.

US officials announced that the patrols that resumed yesterday were not against ISIS, but were limited to camps where ISIS-linked prisoners and their families were being held.

Turkey launched an air operation to northern Syria and Iraq after the terrorist attack on Taksim Istiklal street, the heart of Istanbul, on November 13, in which 6 people lost their lives. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also signaled a ground operation.

The United States and Russia, on the other hand, spoke out against such a ground operation.
