The US unveiled a $750 million stealthy drone: the most advanced yet
While the rise in defense industry and arms spending by all countries has continued in recent years, the US came from a notable move. The US Air Force unveiled the next-generation stealth fighter called the B-21 Raider, billed as “the most advanced aircraft ever produced” with a spectacular launch night.
Each aircraft was claimed to have been produced for $750 million at the event held in Palmdale California, and the B-21 Raider was also claimed to be the longest-range stealth aircraft. It has also been announced that this warplane, which can be used in intercontinental wars, is invisible to radars.
The fighter jet, named after the World War I Doolittle Raiders, was claimed to be able to carry out thermonuclear strikes as well as missiles and conventional weapons.
The fighter plane made by Northrop Grumman was introduced in California.
It was stated that the US Air Force plans to purchase at least 100 of these aircraft and will replace the B-1 and B-2 fighter jets with these. Under this program, $203 billion will be spent developing, purchasing, and repairing products over the next 30 years.
The cost of the aircraft was claimed to be €750 million.
It is claimed that the Pentagon will also make new advances such as nuclear ballistic missiles and warheads for submarines, and this is done to keep up with the speed of modernization of the Chinese military. According to recent reports, China was expected to have 1,500 nuclear warheads by 2035.
