Polish President Duda: “Too much goodwill is being shown to the EU”
Polish President Andrzej Duda stated in an interview with Sieci, a weekly magazine published in Poland, that he would not respond to the European Commission’s recommendations.
Emphasizing that Poland must stop complying with EU demands in order to benefit from European funds, Duda said: “I don’t think that meeting the expectations of the other side will bring results. I think Poland has shown too much goodwill.” he shared his opinion.
Underlining that his country has complied with all previously agreed conditions, Duda said: “As far as I know, we have complied with all the conditions to receive money from the post-pandemic recovery fund. Our spending plan has been approved. We are waiting for the debt we have taken to be paid.” he used the phrases. (AA)
