The meteorological service indicated that in some parts of the country record temperatures for planting were registered, citing as an example the temperatures in the town of Figari, on the island of Corsica, of 32.5 degrees on October 23. He pointed out that the warm weather is also effective in the north and southwest of the country.
Noting that there were tropical nights at the end of October in the south of France, it was stated that the lowest temperature observed in the Barrio de Socoa, in the southern Pyrénées-Atlantiques province, was 24.7 degrees.
