Max Verstappen wins the Brazilian Grand Prix
Max Verstappen, the successful driver of the Red Bull team, left his rivals behind and achieved victory in the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
In the exciting race that took place on the famous Jose Carlos Pace Track in Sao Paulo, he crossed the finish line first with a time of 1 hour, 56 minutes, 48 seconds, 894 seconds after 71 laps.
Thus, Verstappen climbed to the top step of the podium for the seventeenth time this season, taking his own record even further.
Lando Norris, the young and talented British driver of the McLaren team, came in second place, 8 seconds and 277 milliseconds behind Verstappen. Third place in the race went to the experienced Spanish driver Fernando Alonso; Alonso finished 34 seconds behind, 155 milliseconds behind the Red Bull driver.
The United States Grand Prix, the 22nd stage of the Formula 1 world championship calendar, will welcome spectators on Sunday, November 19.
