Verstappen wins Brazilian F1 sprint race

The Dutch driver of the Red Bull team, Max Verstappen, won the sprint race at the Brazilian Grand Prix of the Formula 1 World Championship.

The sprint race, held before the 21st race of the season, was held over 24 laps on the 4.3 kilometer José Carlos Pace circuit in Sao Paulo.

Verstappen, who won his third consecutive world championship during the stage in Qatar this season, took the checkered flag first in a race in which he started from second place and scored 8 points.

Lando Norris (Mclaren), who crossed the finish line 4.287 seconds behind the leader, took second place, and Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Pérez, who arrived 13.617 seconds behind, took third place.
