MotoGP excitement at Phillip Island

The 2023 MotoGP Australian Grand Prix begins!

The prestigious MotoGP racing organization continues at the famous Phillip Island circuit in Australia.

This exciting race, the 16th stage of the season, will take place on this legendary 4.4 kilometer long circuit. Note to racing fans: Qualifying rounds will begin tomorrow at 02:50 Turkish time, and the main race will begin at 06:00 on Sunday, October 22.

During the season, Francesco Bagnaia won 6 times, while Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac) and Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46) won 3 times. Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) managed to win two races this season, while Alex Rins (LCR Honda Castrol) contributed with a victory.

The following names are among the top five in the MotoGP World Championship rider standings:

  • 1. Francesco Bagnaia (Italy): 346 points
  • 2. Jorge Martín (Spain): 328
  • 3. Marco Bezzecchi (Italy): 283
  • 4. Brad Binder (South Africa): 211
  • 5. Aleix Espargaró (Spain): 177
