Saudi Arabia is a candidate to host the Women’s World Cup

Saudi Arabia has announced its intention to host the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Monika Staab, sporting director of the Saudi Arabian women’s football team, stated at the “Leaders’ Week” conference she attended in London, the capital of England, that the federation intends to organize the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup and said: “I think that women’s football in Saudi Arabia is a thing of the future.” “It would be a great advance,” she said.

The Turkish Football Federation announced last week that it was supporting Saudi Arabia, which applied for the official bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

Saudi Arabia, which has made a name for itself with its investments in football in recent years and the addition of well-known international stars to its league, has also applied to host the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026. Saudi Arabia is competing with Australia to host this tournament . (AA)
