Two goalkeepers saw red, Milan won!

Milan beat Genoa in a match in which two goalkeepers received red cards!

On the eighth day of the Italian Serie A, Milan received Genoa. After a goalless first half, Milan took a 1-0 lead with Christian Pulisic’s goal in the 87th minute, and the match ended with this score.

Goalkeepers from both teams received red cards during extra time of the match. Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, 90+8. He received a red card in the minute and, after 5 changes, striker Olivier Giroud scored the goal for the visiting team. 90+13 in Genoa too. In the minute, goalkeeper Josep Martínez received a red card for a second yellow card. After Martínez’s red card, substitute goalkeeper Nicola Leali played in the rest of the home team.

In Milan, Olivier Giroud made a decisive save in the final moments and shared the 3 points.

In the 68th minute, national footballer Berkan Kutlu, on loan to Genoa from Galatasaray with a purchase option, also came into play.

Milan, which increased its points to 21 with its seventh league victory, maintained its place at the top. (AA)
